LAUGHLIN, NV--Los Tucanes de Tijuana and Intocable, two Latin bands with extraordinary success on tour and in the recording industry, will perform in Edgewater’s E Center this fall. The Los Tucanes de Tijuana concert is Saturday, September 14. Intocable will perform Saturday, October 26. Both concerts start at 8pm. Tickets for both concerts start at $25.
Led by Mario Quintero Lara, Los Tucanes de Tijuana has been the top band in Mexico for more than 24 years, performing corridos (ballads) in the Latin-American tradition. Lara has earned awards as the top composer of the most played songs in the US (in their genre). They are the only Regional Mexican Band to have 6 songs at one time on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums. The band has sold more than 13 million albums worldwide.
Grammy Award winning Intocable is a Tejano/Norteño musical group from Zapata, Texas. The band rose to the top of the Tejano and Norteño fields with a musical signature that had fused Tejano's robust conjunto and Norteño folk rhythms with a pop balladry. Intocable could very well be the most influential group in Tejano, and their tough Tejano/Norteño fusion has become the blueprint for dozens of Tex-Mex groups..

LAUGHLIN, NV--New construction is under way at Colorado Belle and Edgewater Casino Resorts. The new projects have begun just as a massive 1,979 hotel room remodel and renovation at both properties is wrapping up. The last of the rooms to be renovated, at the Colorado Belle, will be finished by the end of June.
COLORADO BELLE LOUNGE
A lounge providing free live entertainment will open in June on Colorado Belle's casino floor. The venue will feature live bands every weekend beginning June 14. The lounge will extend out from the Casino's River Bar toward the casino with seating for almost 50 guests.
RETAIL STORE MOVES TO CASINO FLOOR
A long-time fixture on Colorado Belle's "D" Deck, the Marshall's Gift Shop will move to the Belle's casino floor in June. The shop will be located on the east side close to Chill!, the popular indoor/outdoor daiquiri bar, and will feature gifts and sundries.
WILLIAM HILL RACE & SPORTS BOOK
William Hill, the Edgewater's Race & Sports Book operator, has begun a refurbishing project that will give the book an all new high tech look with twelve 46" screens for odds display, 25 carrels featuring 19" screens and more space at each seat, 50 flat screens ranging from 19" to 80" for race and sports viewing, and ample seating, including seating at new granite tables. The book will remain open during the construction period. Completion is targeted for late June.
TED NUGENT RETURNS TO E CENTER!

Walker's July 5th concert occurs between two nights of spectacular fireworks over the Colorado River (July 4th and again on Saturday, July 6th). The E Center will host a concert by Jeff Bridges and The Abiders July 27th, and R&B legends The Spinners will be featured August 3rd. Each concert starts at 8pm. CLAY WALKER made his country music debut in 1993 with his smash hit "What's It To You." Outside of the stage and studio, Clay recently released his first book entitled Jesus Was A Country Boy in which he shares his life's struggles--including being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at 26--and how his faith got him through everything. Walker established Band Against MS (BAMS) in 2003 with the goal of helping others living with MS.
OSCAR-WINNING ACTOR JEFF BRIDGES portrayed grizzled former country music legend Bad Blake in the 2009 film Crazy Heart. Following the release of Crazy Heart, Bridges, a life-long musician, collaborated with Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter/producer T-Bone Burnett to produce the album JEFF BRIDGES. WILLIE NELSON is the creative genius behind historic recordings like "Crazy," "Hello Walls," "Red Headed Stranger" and "Stardust." His career has spanned six decades with a catalog of over 200 albums. He's earned every conceivable award and honor bestowed upon a person in his profession. Poker Room Wraps up 2013 Bi-Weekly $4,000 "$1 Roll" Tournament
The $20,000 "$1 Roll" final event tournament wrapped up March 27th with many winners: 48 people qualified, 38 people participated, and everyone won at least $147. Michael Christian of Bullhead City, Arizona, James Brown of Springfield, Ohio, Fujio Nishi of Vancouver, British Columbia, Irv Rovet of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Daniel Worsdell of Helena, Montana, John Steffes of Bullhead City, Arizona, George Lewis of Bullhead City, Arizona and Gary Porter of Bullhead City, Arizona all made the final table and decided to split the remaining $14,110 in prize money.
Guests of the Colorado Belle Poker Room earned entries into qualifying events by playing their favorite live poker games. Players who earned 5 full houses or better with one key hole card received free entry into a qualifying event. There were 6 qualifying events held every 2 weeks January thru March. The top 8 finishers advanced to the final event for their share of $20,000. Between the qualifying and final events, the Colorado Belle poker room awarded over $44,000 for this promotion.

MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR ROOM REMODEL UNDER WAY

LAUGHLIN, NV--Edgewater & Colorado Belle Casino Resorts began a massive room remodel and renovation project in May improving 1,980 of the two properties' hotel rooms. The project involves the complete remodeling of the Edgewater's Sedona Tower rooms, halls and elevator lobbies. All furniture, bedding and carpet is being replaced, rooms painted, wall art added and 32" flat screen televisions installed. Sedona Tower remodel will be complete by mid December. Edgewater's Santa Fe Tower and Colorado Belle's New Orleans and Bourbon Towers are being renovated as well, repainted with new carpet, new bedding and flatscreen televisions. By the end of September, both properties will also have installed the Lodgenet (Envision) system, expanding in-room television viewing, including (pay-per-view) movies and access to current television series (Just Missed TV) as well as music packages. New rooms are already on line at both properties.
